Billy Wynne put together a great edition of Health Wonk Review over at Healthcare Lighthouse this week. He published on April 10, but was still inspired by the spirit of April Fools’ Day, lumping posts into “April Fools’ Joke” categories. Well played.
Our attention, naturally was drawn to bloggers looking at the progress in state implementation of the Affordable Care. Fortunately, this edition jumped right on that topic, giving a nod to Anthony Wright, who explained how California was leader in enrollment, and to Louise Norris, who assessed efforts in her own state of Colorado.
Writing for our blog, Wendell Potter predicted that even as open enrollment culminated with an impressive surge, that success will in no way mark the end of opponents’ efforts to derail the law. John Goodman, at his Health Policy Blog, continued a rundown of ideas for “fixing” Obamacare.
Those, plus another dozen or so posts make this week’s edition a must-read for true health policy buffs.
