We thought that David Williams nailed it with the title of the current edition of Health Wonk Review: The Open Season on Open Enrollment Edition. Because after all, it is all about ACA’s third open enrollment period, isn’t it?
Sadly, we were disappointed to find that not every single post in this week’s Health Wonk Review compendium is actually about open enrollment. Oh sure, there were a few:
- We knew we could count on Charles Gaba to be all over exchange enrollments.
- We weren’t terribly surprised that NCPA celebrated OEP with a post titled Unaffordable Care Act Third Open Enrollment Nothing to Celebrate …
- … or that InsureBlog chimed in with Musings on ACA Open Enrollment Day.
We just kind of expected a deluge of delightful enrollment posts. Oh well. The edition’s still loaded with great posts. (And thanks, by the way, David, for giving Wendell Potter’s column about Medicare solvency a prominent spot.)

See you next time, when Brad Wright hosts HWR November 19 over at Wright on Health. “Gobble Gobble Edition,” anyone?
