Health Wonk Review for June 14, 2018

A Midsummer Night's Health Wonk Review

Henry Stern, who leads the blogging crew over at Insureblog, put together this week’s edition of Health Wonk Review and has given it summer-tinged theme by dubbing it A Midsummer Night’s Health Wonk Review. Stern admits that Shakepeare’s classic wedding comedy “has absolutely nothing to do with this month’s Review” but we’re OK with that. It’s all about the eye-catching headline, after all.

Stern’s self-described “Hank Wonk Review” is a quick-hit list of nine wonky blog posts ranging from a podcast about prescription drug pricing issues … to a quick take on GOP efforts to “finally” torpedo Obamacare … and a look at Medicaid’s problems with work requirements. Thanks to Hank for the review and for including our explainer about the problems with association health plans by Louise Norris.
