Thanks to Peggy Salvatore for hosting – and for including our own blog post, a guest column from Clair McAndrews at Families USA about the Network Adequacy Model Act – draft legislation that states can use as a foundation for enacting a state law to ensure network adequacy in health insurance plans. (If you’re interested in the issue, Andrew Sprung has a follow-up in our blog.
The Healthcare on Parade Edition has a dozen posts in all. Since we’re all about Obamacare, we were particularly interested in a great explainer by Louise Norris, who digs into HHS’s proposed benefit and payment parameters for 2017. (Great reading for folks who care about things like the 2017 open enrollment schedule; an HHS proposal for standardized plan designs in the federally facilitated exchange; and an increase in the 2017 maximum out-of-pocket limits.)
But as usual, the posts are all top notch, and you should head on over to check out this solid compendium of health policy.
Next up? Julie Ferguson hosts HWR on December 17th over at Workers Comp Insider.
